Beiderbeckes Bistro offers an oasis of fine, but informal dining in the resurgent and regenerated Hawkhill area of Dundee.

Established in 1994, Beiderbeckes, under the guiding hand of owners Bob Colston and Michael Strachan, flourished for over ten years in the fashionable Perth Road in Dundee. Public demand to eat in their bustling, but compact, restaurant space prompted Bob and Michael to purchase, in 2005, the site of the Royal Oak Bar. The interior of their spacious new premises has been transformed and refurbished to the highest standard.

The range of fare on offer continues to include pastas, steaks, burgers, pizzas and our unique range of stir-fry meals; why not take a look at our menu. Beiderbeckes is a 'must visit' option for diners of all ages.

As you might expect in a Bistro named in honour of the great cornet player, and composer, Bix Beiderbecke, the theme and music playing in the restaurant is jazz orientated. So come along for a pre-theatre treat or incomparable evening meal and soak up some of the Beiderbeckes atmosphere. It really is footstompin'ly good!
